In math this year, your child will learn an abundance of new material.  We will be memorizing numerous sets of math facts and building math fact fluency.  Becoming proficient math fact students will ensure success in all subsequent math classes.  Additionally, we will learn about geometric solids, measurement, tally marks, graphing, money, time, patterns, missing addends, place value, and so much more. Our math will contain oral, written, and hands-on acitivites. Students will also utilize total physical response (TPR) as we “get moving” in our daily morning math exercise program.
