2nd Grade Teacher
I graduated high school from Stillwater High School in 1996.
I attended Oklahoma State University from 1996-1998. I got married at the end of my sophomore year and moved to Texas.
I finished my degree in elementary education at Tarleton State University where I graduated in 2002.
I taught in Cooperas Cove for 2 years, then moved back to Oklahoma. I taught in Perryton for 1 year, then got hired with Laverne Schools in 2005.
I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, This is my 17th year to teach elementary.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary 1-8.
I have a Reading Specialist Degree in Elementary.
I have been teaching at Laverne since 2005.
I am currently teaching second grade.
I began teaching when Hannah was a year old, which was in 2002.
I had a sister with disabilites who impacted my life greatly. I teach students to have empathy and compassion. We talk about bullying a lot in my classroom. It is something that will not be tolerated. She taught me many valuable lessons in life.
I enjoy teaching dance and gymnastics. I also love to sing! I like going to the movies with my family. I love going to my children’s sporting events, such as football, basketball, softball, and track.
