Laverne FFA Honored With Award

On November 9th, six of the Laverne FFA Officers as well as all three Laverne FFA Advisors got the opportunity to be recognized at this year's Laverne Area Chamber of Commerce Gold Leaf Gala. Every year the community nominates people, businesses, and organizations in several different categories. The Laverne FFA was nominated in the Organization of the Year Award category. The Laverne FFA is proud to say that out of the three finalists for this award the Laverne FFA was selected to be the 2024 Organization of the Year recipient. The chapter is so honored to have been selected for this award. The Laverne FFA enjoys serving their community in any way they can and are very thankful for the support and amazing town that they get to call home. Big congratulations to the 2024 Youth Leader of the Year award winner Dallie McAtee who serves as the Laverne FFA Chapter Historian as well as the 2024 Public Servant of the Year award winner our very own Superintendent Kyndra Allen. Both of these ladies do so much in our community and are very deserving of these awards. Lastly, a big congratulations to all of the other Laverne School employees and students who were nominated as well as all other winners and nominees. Thank you Laverne Area Chamber of Commerce for putting on this fantastic event to recognize some of Laverne’s very finest. It’s a great day to be a Tiger!
