Laverne Public Schools

Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Thursday, July 4th, 2024, marked the 50th annual Laverne 4th of July Celebration. Laverne’s small town 4th of July attracts people from miles around and has a long lasting reputation of fun for everyone.

The Laverne FFA got to be a part of making this celebration so amazing this year. Many members showed up on the morning of July 4th to have the distinct honor of carrying the American Flag in the annual parade.

Later that day the Laverne FFA held their yearly 4th of July Meals on Wheels. This program allows for those who can not attend the BBQ dinner in the park to still have a ‘taste’ of this small town celebration. The members who participated prepared,packaged, and delivered these meals. In total 110 meals were delivered.

The Laverne 50th annual 4th of July celebration was another success. Thank you to all that make this wonderful event happen.
