Broken Bow, Oklahoma a land of trees, luxury cabins, and sasquatch. Last week the Laverne FFA Officer team traveled to Broken Bow for their annual officer team retreat. The ten officers were accompanied by their three ag teachers, Mr. Nagle, Mrs. Kolbe, and Mr. Lang.
The six hour drive was a great start to the bonding done during officer retreat. Once the team had arrived they unpacked and got settled into their beautiful cabin. Next they took a trip to Idabel where they split into teams and bought groceries for the meals they were to prepare. When they arrived back to their cabin they started planning for the year.
The next morning started with breakfast and team building activities. The officers learned more about each other and how to work as a team. After a good lunch the team prepared for pictures. These pictures will be used throughout the year for many different things. They then headed into town to enjoy an escape room. To complete this escape room they had to work together to find clues and unlock the door before time ran out. The officers made it out with 23 minutes left and had lots of fun. They finished the evening with dinner and most importantly s'mores by the campfire.
Officer retreat concluded the next morning and the team couldn't be more excited for what's in store this year. This team is dynamic and excited to lead the Laverne FFA. Keep your eyes out, you won't want to miss a thing.
