Laverne FFA Officer Team Enjoys Officer Retreat

Last weekend the FFA Officer Team headed down to Canyon, TX for their annual officer retreat. Your officer team includes, President Kresta Badley, Vice President Ben Scott, Secretary Selah Bentley, Treasurer Timber Baker, Reporter Kensli Shaffer, Sentinel Kylen Kamp, and Chaplain Cy Bentley. Advisors Ms. Kolbe and Mr. Goyen accompanied the team. 

The retreat was started off at Cadillac Ranch where the team got to spray paint old cadillacs. Then the Officer Team was split into two teams and challenged to work together to buy ingredients and cook a meal. The officers then spent several hours planning for the upcoming year. 

The next day was full of more planning, good food, and completed with a very exciting activity. The officers got to go to an escape room where they were put in a room and told to work together to find the clues that would get them out before time was up. This proved to be a great team building experience because it took everyone's help to escape. 

These officers have worked so hard on planning for the upcoming year of activities. Your FFA Officer Team has so many great things planned for this year that they can't wait to share with you. Keep your eyes out, you won't want to miss a thing!
